“I was unprepared when Death arrived.”
I don’t know if this is an official printmaking process. I polished a copper plate, inked it, and wiped ink off the plate to create this image. Then, I printed it as I would any other intaglio print. I pulled a second print from this plate with the remaining ink. That print is titled “An Evening with Death (Reprise)”.
Due to the destructive nature of this print process, there is only one print in the edition.
